6.95 2 course lunch deal is well worth it. Excellent Thai food (best we've had for a while), atmospheric surroundings and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Also does takeaway
Amazing meal at the Thai Basement to celebrate my 30th birthday! Food was to die for, decor so quirky and our waiter so lovely and very accommodating! He even gave me a present to mark the occasion (a tiny pink elephant which was so fitting). I couldn't rate this place more highly!!
My compliments to the chef for the food, knowing this is a remote place in the middle of nowhere and discussing the expected lack of papaya and soft shell crab availability here with the owner. This place would do well in London.All the dishes are presented well and accurate in flavor, using the right palm sugar and coconut milk and spice. Would recommend to anyone finding themselves in Ashbourne.
excellent food in nice surroundings. Even got my 5 year old to dip his kids food into sweet chili sauce and nick bits of our lovely set menu. Bit of a problem ordering the wine and the bill could have been more detailed otherwise 5 stars.
