The restaurant itself is not posh and situated above a chip shop with dodgy decor. Apart from this, the waiters were pleasant and efficient. The food came out quickly, was piping hot and very tasty with decent portion sizes. Bill came to a reasonable 47 for three diners. The Spice Garden also has a BYO policy for alcoholic drinks so if you fancy wine or a few beers with your curry this keeps the cost down a fair bit.Well worth a visit.
Fantastic food - more varied than your usual Bangladeshi/ Indian but also with the 'standard' dishes. Not licensed so bring your own alcohol.
Been a couple of times since this place changed from the Bengal and my god the food is bang on, spiced to perfection.
Very good food, first time visit but will be back again.
NEW owner / New Name /New Cook Excellent! Far more better food than before. I had a fish curry and I was not disappointed. The spices can be adapted to your taste. You still can bring your own drinks. Very friendly staff. Give it a go!
