A beautiful little site with all amenities needed. The views from the pitches are beautiful and the sunsets are incredible from here! With Dovedale being a short drive away, it is a perfect spot as a base for going walking to take in the views from around and about.
Excellent site with two showers, sinks and toilets. In the Porta cabin there are washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, kettle and a fridge. There is a table and chairs. Ideal for people with ridge tents. IE walkers cyclist etc.There are 5 hard standings for caravans/ motorhomes. They can take up to 6 tents on a very large field with wonderful views.The field does have a slope so you need to be careful erecting your tent.Owners are friendly and helpful. It is a working farm so some minor noise from wood cutting.Would definitely recommend.
We stayed in Poplars Farm cottage and it was everything we could have hoped. Very well furnished and comfortable. Pete and Sarah were the perfect hosts...there when we needed them but not intrusive.
Just got back from a 4 night stay at this site. Lovely couple running the site . Excellent showers nice and hot , didn't cut out whilst showering . Gorgeous views. Even though near a main road it was quiet. Defiantly going to stay there again.
