Lovely little campsite and Peter and Chris are very friendly and helpful. There are 3 fields. We camped on the first field which is fairly flat, has electric hookups and is handy for the immaculate and well equipped loo block (insulated and double glazed, so it's not freezing at night). We only stayed one night, but would come back without hesitation.
A friendly, well maintained campsite. Pitch was recently mown and flat. Even though the ground was hard due to no rain; there was no problem putting pegs in. Shower block was very clean. Freezer on site. It was busy but never had to wait to use facilities. Super friendly staff who brought round fire buckets and wood on a trailer and made us feel very welcome. They were on hand 24 hours if needed. A good price. I'll definitely be staying again.
Great wardens on site. Relaxed campsite. Fire pits allowed. Sports and games allowed. Large groups allowed. Good facilities What's not to like.
Stayed for two nights our first camping experience was a fantastic one, the wardens very friendly and warm, our little boy loved how friendly and chatty Chris was and she allowed him to walk their doggy. The facilities were clean all throughout the stay, kids had plenty of room to play, loved that all the kids played together. Hired a fire basket which is definitely worth the money as you get logs etc. Thank you for making our first experience a positive one.
A lovely Campsite with excellent facilities. Toilets, showers and sinks were plentiful and always clean. We also rented a fire pit for the night which was money well spent! Lots of families too, with children of all ages. Would definitely recommend.
