It's a very beautiful place. Not to far from the lake very scenic it was great
They look after you here like a member of extended family. Wonderful welcome smiles and free tea and coffee every time you pop in. Water and biscuits for dogs. This is a quiet family site where you are expected to be silent from 10.30 (sorry I snore). Children have central play areas you can keep an eye as they play and make new friends. A selection of children's toys provided. Could not find a laundry but everything else to make your stay comfortable. We based ourselves here and went out for breakfast up the road returning after eating dinner for a quiet sleep. Perfect if that is what you are looking for. Loads to do and see in the area. Walks from the site can go around Carsington Water over a day around 9miles on foot or by bike. Thanks guys and congratulations 25years
Fabulous site, very friendly staff, well laid out. Nice shop stocking essentials, chip ban on site some nights (just as we arrived on a Friday night - perfect). Set in a lovely part of the country, with loads of activities at Carsington Water. You can even order an Indian Takeaway to be delivered to site. What a way to end a busy day.
Well I can only say we have been to the best campsite ever it's got to be the best site we have visited the amenities are great the owners and their staff are most welcoming,there isn't anything they won't do to help we have had the most amazing relaxing time everyone from entering the site where amazing ,if anyone can find a fault I for one will be amazed great people great place we are definitely going going back you guys made our stay with your smiley happy faces oh and we loved it he goats ,funny to watch them roaming around ,and not forgetting the chickens well done to you guys shame we had to come home but aye you haven't got rid of us we will be back thank you once again for letting us enjoy your lovely site brilliant
We decided to stay here for our 1st trip out with our new caravan as we love this area.The staff on the site were all very nice and friendly and asked us if we needed any help etc. The campsite is very well kept and the plots are plenty big enough. There's plenty of open space for the kids to play and the amenities are very good. We will definitely be returning here for our short stay weekends as it's only 30 miles away from our home.
