Very nice lake, great to walk round or cycle.
Favourite that we haven't visited for a while. Lovely area for exploring and walking. Clean facilities. Friendly wardens. Nice clean site and children's playgrounds.

Fantastic site and really well laid out. We have had 5 nights here and loved every minute. Assistant wardens Rob and Helen have been really helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Toilets/showers/washing facilities are 5*. Will definitely be back and would recommend this site to all. Lovely walk to Carsington Water or all the way round.Great for families with small play areas.
Everything about this site was superb. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. We were directed to our hardstanding pitch and were given a good explanation of where the all the facilities were. The shop stocked the essentials, and even ordered an Indian meal for is to be delivered to site. The site is within easy walking distance of Carsington Water, with all the superb activities available to keep you entertained for daysThe facilities were excellent.I recommend buying the fish food to feed the fish in the large pond. The fish are huge, and seemingly constantly starving. It's great fun watching them go crazy over food. The kids loved itWell cert be returning.
