Reception staff have been very friendly and helpful on each of our visits. My wife has had problems with a 30-year old bridge. Our old dentist recommended removing the bridge and leaving a 2-tooth gap.Patrick Carroll removed the bridge, did root canal work , cleared the infected part of the tooth and put back the bridge. He patiently described every step of the treatment as it progressed. Since the treatment a week ago, my wife is very pleased with the work and is no longer feeling the pain she had been in.We have both now registered with Oswald House Dental Practice and would highly recommend them to anyone.
the reception staff are rude and ignorant. i have 4 children and i am autistic. they text that many different appointments out even ones i had cancelled i got confused as to what was happening. .. .. i got a txt monday saying the date and time for the tuesday then a text tuesday morning before an appointment saying the date and time for friday! i had a phone call the week before aswell changing an appointment! so i assumed they had changed the appointment.. we took my child to the app on friday and the reception staff were extremly rude saying we missed an appointment (the one on tuesday) they said because we are nhs patients and a large family we are costing them too much money! why 1 child had an appointment for a tuesday and thursday i dont know..seeing as tho it was 1 little filling they was doing..we expalined that i am autistic and that sending that many messages in 1 week confused me but she wouldnt accept it and threw the family out saying where not allowed to attend there anymore! if the receptionists worked any where else they would be dismissed with that attitude! warning to any other nhs patients who attend here.. they are getting rid of all nhs patients who attend! that is what the receptionist has said..fair to say my husband was annoyed and told them in the end to p### off.. which im sure any1 would do who was being spoke down to! they need a lesson in respect and customer service!Reply to your comment..Yes i said he swore as he was annoyed! There was one customer in there at the time (with it being ashbourne we know them) yes you have added ways to remind of appointments however when you send a message for appointments you putMrs likeman and the date and time.. theres no names on the txt just mrs likeman.. how do i know whos appointment you are reminding me about, and like i said i had 3 txts that week and a phone call which confused me as to what date you wanted my daughter to attend.. however the reception staff was still rude before my husband swore.. and they was rude to him last time he came! We are with a new dentist now, the receptionists are warm and welcoming, they know about my autism so are making appointments easier and are doing things better to remind me. TLC very nice friendly staff..
