The best Chinese take-away I've had in years! Everything is beautifully done, portion sizes are generous and their service is very fast. It is also one of the cleanest and best looking take-aways I've ever been in.
Got my takeaway order wrong I order king prawn Szechuan and more they brought chicken so I phoned day after and they said they will add the prawns for free so I order chow mein and they charged me 3 pound extra and said then lied and also said I got xharcha for chicken when I got receipt liers !!!
This take-away is apparently the old Chinese restaurant just across the road. I enjoyed the food there but this place is even better. We had take-away from here first time and we will definitely come back. Food was just great and exactly what we expected. I had some spicy chicken food which was just enough spicy to enjoy dinner and also know it's spicy. My friend had noodles with duck and it was delicious.
Didnt really want to put a star at all. first time at this place will never return very expensive and food was not cooked properly. Asked for egg fried rice just got boiled. Prawn toast not cooked. Chicken balls under cooked. Ribs were more bone than meat and sauce did not taste like bbq. Was not told sweet and sour was not a dish only chicken in batter with pot of sauce others places serves this as a dish with pineapple and veg. When asked size of portion of chips was just told Depends on how hungry you are and order was wrong.
Glad to see there is a replacement for the now-closed Dragons Nest restaurant. The food is good - tasty, fresh and cooked pretty quickly; however, it is quite pricey for the portion size and, despite being very clear about my order, the Prawn Crackers (1.00) were absent upon returning home - hence only a 4/5 score (1/2 star loss for the price; 1/2 star loss for the order accuracy). I will continue to use this take-away, but I would highly recommend you check your order before departure - I know I shall from now on.
