All the locals now avoids this place. Because it used to be homley, welcoming and family orientated. Events used to always be hosted ie Halloween an other things. Now majority of the locals have been banned from going into the horns. Marstons have lost the plot .
Old world charm small rooms interesting people a little different that makes it nice.
Average pub. Beer was OK and staff friendly. I used to come here in my teens. Was better then.
Used to love going in this pub but it has changed management too much but still a friendly place for tourists when it's open
Not a lot to report. It's a traditional English pub situated in the lovely town of Ashbourne. Beautiful sunny Sunday when we visited, and fortunately we manged to get one of the limited number of tables outside to enjoy it for half an hour. It's one of a handful clustered around the market area, which was in full flow, and on a day when England were playing one of their World Cup matches, it was also one of the quieter. Couldn't fault the pint of a local brew that I tried or the service, as the young lady who served me with my pint and my partner's diet coke, came out to apologise that she thought she'd served the 'full fat' version, and changed it to be sure. The food seemed popular, as most of the people seated around us were tucking into a variety of meals.
