Always good food and service here! I often have the breakfast with tea , it's lovely
Yummy treats for everyone in the family and a very high standard. You can eat the pastries and other meals in the cafe or you can take some things home instead. We often eat the bread rolls from here and they're delicious! It can be a bit pricy though so only go for a real treat.
Lovely but slow service today
Had a lovely day in Ashbourne today went into the Gingerbread Cafe,had a toasted sandwich each and a coffee, very nice. There Pies and cakes are beautiful, will be visiting sgain.
Experience of eating here is sometimes good, sometimes not. Nice for a drink and a snack but they don't cope well at busy times.Today was a bad day in that we sat waiting for our order to be taken, other customers came in and sat down and the waitress went and served them, even though I knew she had seen us. When challenged about it she gave a very false smile whilst saying she'd be with us shortly. She then sent someone else to serve us. Fortunately, other members of staff were pleasant and friendly.So, sometimes OK, sometimes not.!!
